We intend to provide you with the best possible information on azaleas and other rhododendrons. Our emphasis is on southern U.S. native species and plants that grow well in the southeastern portion because that is what we know the best.

This news blog keeps you informed on upcoming meetings, field trips, new information on our web site, and other interesting tidbits as they come to our attention.

Come back here regularly, or better still, subscribe to our news blog (click Subscribe icon below) to automatically receive our occasional news updates via email. We won't inundate you with spam.

We have added some new links on our Useful Links page. Based on a suggestion, we added links to some other plant societies - Camellias, Hostas, Hydrangeas, Iris, Roses, Native Plants, and others. Azalea and rhododendron lovers love other plants too.

If you subscribe to our News, you will receive an automatic email whenever new News Blog entries are posted. Our News Blog is one way to keep our members informed of what is going on. Through our News Blog, we will remind about upcoming meetings, promote our plant sale, announce field trips and garden tours, tell about features or information available on our site, note new photo albums added. The email feature compliments the News Blog.

The email is scheduled to be sent only once a day and only if there are any new news blog entries that day. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the Unsubscribe link on any received email from our News Blog.

From time to time we will be adding more photos and photo albums. We have added a new photo album of the Davis Garden and have added additional photos of Robin Hill Hybrids. Check them out.
